Interim Director of Human Resources & Risk Management
In March of 2021, I began as Interim, Director of HR and Risk Management for a transit organization, with 300 employees and 2/3 of them being union. As Interim, I was able to lead the team to investing in a Market Compensation Salary Project, rolled out a new employee handbook, redesigned the HR team identifying the team members roles & responsibilities, recruited & onboarded over 10 new employees, while managing the ever changing demands of COVID-19.

Market Compensation Analysis
Designed a marketing compensation system, researched and analyzed comparable benefit programs and evaluated all administrative positions based upon the bon-a-fide job factors for Pay Equity in Oregon.

HR On-Demand Services
Created & revised Employee Handbooks for multiple agencies.
On-call assistance for employee performance issues, including formal write-ups and establishing performance improvement plans as requested.
